Introducing the All-New 2026 Audi A6

The all-new 2026 Audi A6. This is a premium plus. Huge shout-out to Audi North Lake for providing this sedan for me today. Take a look at their website. That link is down in the description. This A6 is finished off in Glacier White metallic and with options. MSRP is just over $72,000.

Engine and Performance

Now, this is powered by the 3 L turbocharged V6. It’s now paired to the seven-speed electronic automatic. It pumps out 362 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is all-wheel drive, weighs in right around 4,300 lb. It’ll do 0 to 60 in 4 and a half seconds with a top speed of 130 mph. It also has a fuel capacity of 19.3 gallons, and you’ll expect to see it get 20 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. This also has a wheelbase of 115.1 in. Its overall length is 196.8. It has a width of 73.8, a height of 57.4, and its ground clearance measures in at 4.2 in.

Exterior Styling and Features

Now, as we move on to the exterior styling, this model also features the black optics package. So, you’ll notice a lot of gloss black accents, and it even upgrades the wheels as well. So, you’ll notice the gloss black trim accents, which are also vents on both sides to provide additional airflow. You’ll notice the latest Audi design for the badge. There’s a forward-facing camera along with parking sensors and a sensor in the lower section of the grill to provide information for your distance, pacing, and all of that tech.

Now, this still retains the hexagonal design for the grill with plenty of cutouts in it. And this also features the matrix LED lights, and they have a really nice design to them overall. And then you’ll notice a few lines coming down the hood to give it a great design.

Wheels, Mirrors, and Trim

As I said, this has the upgraded wheels. So, these are 20 in with the two-tone design. You’ll notice there’s some more gloss black for the lower section of the bumper. It’s also on the power-folding side mirrors, which feature a camera and a turn signal. There’s more gloss black for the window trim. And then this features a full moon roof up top as well. You’ll notice, too, that there’s more gloss black trim accents for the door handles and then really crisp lines that flow down the side.

Rear Design and Cargo

Leading our way to the back here, this has the LEDs for all of the lighting. You’ll notice the backup camera, all the parking sensors, and then the dual exhaust with some fins in that middle diffuser there. Now, you can use the button on the key fob or the release underneath to gain access to your cargo space. This does have a power-operated trunk. And in back, you have a good bit of space for this vehicle. You’ll notice you have this hook here, so you can place some bags or items there. There’s also a storage net on one side.

You have a little bit of space underneath the floor, but it’s mainly for some of the electronics. You’ll notice, too, there’s a 12v on one side, and of course, you can fold the back seats down for even more interior space. And then you have the two buttons up top to close the trunk lid or to lock the vehicle.

Interior Design and Comfort

This is also paired with a really nice interior. You’ll notice the manually-adjusted sun shades. There’s this trim accent here with Bang and Olufsen for the audio. You’ll notice the wood trim accents as well. You have a window control, and then some storage in that lower section, and the neat design for the release handle there. And then of course, the solid beige interior where you have the release here to fold the seats down. That way, you can see into the back there where you can place some larger items.

Rear Passenger Space

As we hop into the back at 5’10”, I have a good bit of space. You’ll notice there are storage nets on both sides. There are also auxiliaries. There are vents. This even has heated rear seats with that package for the Prestige. And then you also have all of your controls for temperature, fan speed, and where you’d like the air to go. And then at 5’10”, I have maybe a half inch or so of headroom. So, I can sit upright and ride around and be comfortable in the back, which is great. Now, right in the middle, you’ll notice there’s the armrest where you have cup holders, and you can also fold down this middle seat.

Technology and Infotainment

Now, as we work our way up front, you’ll notice the same design for the door panel. However, this has this panel here. You can go through lock and unlock, and your headlight adjustments. There are side mirror adjustments so you can adjust them and fold them. Memory seating controls, child lockouts, and then your window controls and trunk release underneath that. So, it’s laid out incredibly well, easy to use.

Infotainment and Controls

This has a leather steering wheel with these silver brushed accents. There are no spokes in the lower section, so it gives it a cool look. Now, let’s start this up where we have the all-new infotainment and gauge cluster screen. This is new for the 2026 model year from Audi. And as we start off with the gauge cluster here, you have a good bit that you can go through. You’ll notice that you can go through everything using the controls on the left side of the steering wheel.

Now, on the right side, you can get into the heated steering wheel. There’s volume tuning. You also have a favorites control, Bluetooth, and voice commands, and there are paddle shifters on the back side. The infotainment system is easy to navigate, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, and vehicle settings all accessible.

Driving Experience

As we sat up behind the wheel of the latest A6, this is a really nice sedan from Audi. With the turbo V6 and the new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it’s smooth and refined. It’s not a true S or RS model, but it has a good bit of power, responsive handling, and performance-oriented features. Road noise is minimal, and the ride is very comfortable.
