Welcome to Topaz Scotland in Glasgow

If you have a Lamborghini Tamario, or in fact, if you’re lucky enough to have one of these on order already, then you need to watch this video. So, welcome to another video. We’ve actually been on the road today. We have gone north. This is Topaz, Scotland, in Glasgow. This is the northernmost Topaz studio in the world. And you can probably tell because I’m getting rained on as we speak. So, I won’t talk for too long. Get inside the dry and show you around our brand new facility up here in Glasgow to serve all of our loyal customers and dealers in Scotland.

Our Reception Area and Customer Experience

The first thing customers agreed to buy is our reception area, where they can have a coffee, do some work in quiet if they like, while their cars are being worked on, and of course have that amazing view.

Paint Protection Film on the Land Rover Defender

This is one we’re quite proud of. This is a gray Land Rover Defender. And you might think, has he gone color blind? No, I haven’t. Underneath this is a gray car, but it’s got our electric blue Topaz color-change paint protection film all over it. So, all of the blue that you see is actually paint protection film. So, we have an OEM paint look on here, but it’s paint protection film. Every single panel is cut to size on our plotter. So, no cutting on the car. All ready to go. Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, all the way around the car. And the car has been transformed. It looks amazing. It’s self-healing. It’s protective. So, the paint underneath is completely protected and won’t get any stone chips. The customer is about to pick this one up, and they’re very, very happy with it.

Range Rovers and Satin Conversions

Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 is a used car, but obviously can still benefit from our paint protection film, and that’s exactly why it’s here. Then down the line, we’ve got three brand new Range Rovers, all from various Sitna Land Rover dealerships. So, thank you for sending those down. Every single one—green, gray, and black—is having our satin conversions. That’s a clear paint protection film with a satin finish. So, it keeps the color that’s underneath, but transforms it to satin and also protects it. You can see the clear difference here: satin already on the bonnet and currently unprotected, still in gloss green paintwork underneath. It gives a unique look and protects.

Lamborghini Tamario – The Star of the Show

Here we have it, the Lamborghini Tamario. And what makes this car so special? First of all, the particular car to front of us is a stunner finished in the glorious Verde Hermes paint from our friends at Lamborghini Edinburgh. In fact, we have another car from Ramin Edinburgh just behind the camera, which you’ll have to wait to see. But this car is one of the first in the country with us for paint protection film.

Performance and Engineering Highlights

This is the first mid-engined V8 Lamborghini since the Jalpa in the 1980s. It follows on in that baby Lamborghini lineage from the Gallardo and the Huracan, which famously had that screaming naturally aspirated V10. With the way of the world, they’ve had to reduce the engine size, make it turbocharged, and make it hybrid. But have they done a good job of it? Yes. This is a brand new engine, a 4-liter flat-plane crank producing with the hybrid system over 900 horsepower. Doing well over 200 mph and 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds, this baby Lamborghini certainly is not a baby anymore.

Aerodynamics and Design Innovations

These hexagonal lights don’t just look cool—they actually have a Venturi air intake inside, which speeds up the air, allowing for a smaller radiator. The rear wing and side intakes are designed to manage airflow for both the engine and hybrid system. As is tradition with all Lamborghinis, it’s named after a fighting bull. Tamaria was a fighting bull back in 1875, symbolizing fierce and courageous energy.

Rear Design and Engine Details

The lines, curves, and exposed 325 cross-section rear tires make a statement. The tail lights, exhausts, and engine all follow a purposeful design. The 4L flat-plane crank, coupled with the hybrid system, produces incredible combined horsepower, making this car a rocket ship. The car revs up to 10,000 RPM, requiring drivers to recalibrate their expectations for optimal performance.

Workshop and Other Vehicles at Topaz Scotland

We have a lot more to show, including another Tamario from Lamborghini Edinburgh and the rest of the workshop at Topaz Scotland. Cars from across the UK are here for PPF, including Hatfield, Bristol, London, and Topaz Midlands. Topaz is trusted to be the first to work on these cars, which means every pattern is created from scratch to ensure a perfect fit.

Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale and Other Special Cars

Not all cars are Tamaros. The Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale is also here, covered in carbon fiber with tailor-made livery. Our state-of-the-art washbay ensures the highest standards for PPF installation. Other Ferraris and Range Rovers are also getting satin or protective film treatments, showing our range and expertise.

Paint Protection Film – Why It Matters

PPF isn’t just for paint. We protect carbon fiber surfaces, screens, and interior panels. Each car is digitally patterned, cut, and installed with precision to ensure no visible joins, maximum protection, and a flawless finish. Even high-impact zones like exposed rear wheels get double layers if necessary. Heat zones around the engine and exhaust are carefully considered.

Interior Protection and User Experience

The interior remains intuitive, with big knobs and buttons instead of haptic controls, allowing drivers to manage over 900 horsepower safely. Screens and carbon fiber surfaces are also protected with PPF.

Conclusion

If you have one of these cars on your driveway or on order, Topaz is ready to be the first to work on your Tamario. With expertise, precision, and 15+ years of experience, we ensure your car is protected to the highest standards.

Introducing

New Lamborghini Tamario, first of all, it is opening the page into our future.

Essential and Iconic Design Language

The design language I call Essential and iconic. It feels like a pilot, and the pilot interaction philosophy means we have iconic elements throughout the car.

Iconic Steering Wheel Features

First of all, in the steering wheel, we have always had the driving mode activator and the Anima button. Then you always use the airplane-style switch to open and close the windows.

Central Console and Graphic Design

In the center console, the new graphic design always shows the rev counter in the 6:00 position. The driver, the pilot, is always finding the gears and the speed in the same position in every driving mode.

Hexagonal Buttons and Consistent Language

Last but not least, we have the hexagonal buttons that you see everywhere. The design language is very consistent, and the last iconic button, I think, is the one that every child and every pilot wants to push in this lifetime: our start and stop button, also with the hexagonal shape—very typical, very iconic Lamborghini.
